In 2013 the Department of History of Government General Degree College, Singur Hooghly, West Bengal was founded. The Department has only Honours course. The Department has a rich library; our students take the book regularly from the library. They also published wall magazines. They take part in co-curricular activities like debate, quiz, elocution and sports and cultural programmes.
